enlist.io Branding
enlist.io is a web-based software platform developed for hiring managers at medium-to-massive-sized corporations. It features a friendly interface with intuitive tools that automate repetitive tasks, create a platform for an effective interview process, and streamline communication between the hiring professional, corporate stakeholders, and the applicants. From the start, a potential employee can receive a positive, fluid experience from his or her future employer, and the hiring managers can make more confident decisions.
My challenge was to brand this software product. The primary end user is the hiring manager, and market research revealed that most hiring managers are women in there 30s or 40s. This, combined with the software’s goal of being friendly and intuitive, led us to a softer color palette and playful graphic elements. At the center of the brand is an “e” icon made of a combination of shapes, all of which can be broken apart and used individually in the graphic design and livery. Just as many different skills, personalities and mindsets are needed to form a successful company, so enlists.io’s “e” is made of many different pieces—and not two are alike. The end result is a brand that’s quirky and vibrant while still professional and refined.
“Drew asked the right questions to help us figure out what the new design needed to communicate and turned that insight into excellent design options.”
