Peel Dream Magazine

Peel Dream Magazine has been in regular rotation for me over the last few years. Their shoegazery, fuzzy guitar sound and repetative vocal drone have strong Stereolab vibes. They played at Tubby’s in Kingston, NY — a great little neighborhood bar with a backroom music venue. It’s small, too small. And perfect.

I got a spot right up front — so close that the head of the bass guitar almost smacked me in the face a few times. I took the Ricoh GR as per usual and got a few shots of the band and the venue. Minimal edits.

Grabbed a beer at Westkill before the show. Great selection of beers. Highly recommend the Burn Ban smoked ale.
